The concert is free and open to the public, and runs from 6-10 p.m. in Town Square. Wild Hog Smokehouse is back again this season serving food and beverages. Helix Wine and Bites, a new wine bar in downtown Grand Forks will serve wine. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their dancing shoes.

Randy McAllister: Born and raised in Novice, Texas, Randy McAllister is one of the premier singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist to emerge from Texas. At a very young age, Randy followed his father’s footsteps into music, taking drumming lessons and developing as a singer and songwriter. His music has been hailed as some of the most original and innovative being made today. In performance, Randy’ songs combine an uncontainable energy and intensity with his soulful voice and lyrics which are truthful, funny and dig deep into tough topics. Randy has released 10 critically acclaimed albums, including the 2002 Grammy Nominee “Giver and Takers”. Heartbreak, humor, high hair and tall Texas tales all play a part in the songwriting of Randy McAllister.

Brian Naughton: Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Brian Naughton is a recording artist, singer, songwriter and guitarist who possesses a signature sound driven by an energetic mix of Blues, Rock, Funk and Soul. At seven-years old, Brian, a third-generation musician, picked up his first guitar and discovered the love of all three Kings of Blues music, Albert, Freddie and B.B. in quick order. Brian’s passionate commitment to creating and pushing the boundaries of music has allowed him to build a reputation as one of the foremost guitar players in the Twin Cities. Whether performing with industry talents, as part of his band’s trio, paired in a duo, or grooving solo acoustic, Brian Naughton expands the expectations and definitions of music in all its forms and will leave you wanting more.

The GFDDA’s vision is a downtown that is stable and growing; encourages economic development and business diversity; is walkable and pedestrian friendly; and is safe and clean.
