The Downtown Development Association is hosting the final Blues on the Red Concert of the summer on Saturday, August 29. The concert series is sponsored by JLG Architects. Starting at 6 p.m. in Town Square, this FREE concert will feature the Brian Naughton Band opening for headliner Randy McAllister, who will take stage at 8.

The concert is free and open to the public, and runs from 6-10 p.m. in Town Square. Wild Hog Smokehouse is back again this season serving food and beverages. Helix Wine and Bites, a new wine bar in downtown Grand Forks will serve wine. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their dancing shoes.

Brian+NaughtonBrian Naughton: Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Brian Naughton is a recording artist, singer, songwriter and guitarist who possesses a signature sound driven by an energetic mix of Blues, Rock, Funk and Soul. At seven-years old, Brian, a third-generation musician, picked up his first guitar and discovered the love of all three Kings of Blues music, Albert, Freddie and B.B. in quick order. Brian’s passionate commitment to creating and pushing the boundaries of music has allowed him to build a reputation as one of the foremost guitar players in the Twin Cities. Whether performing with industry talents, as part of his band’s trio, paired in a duo, or grooving solo acoustic, Brian Naughton expands the expectations and definitions of music in all its forms and will leave you wanting more.
