The Town Square Ice Skating Rink in Downtown Grand Forks is located at the corner of DeMer’s Avenue and 3rd Street. It opened for the 2014-2015 season on Friday, December 19. Town Square was built circa 2000 with the idea that it could be an ice skating rink during the winter season. To our knowledge, it was tried once shortly after being built, but could not be sustained at the time. Fast forward to today and the Grand Forks Downtown Development Association has brought the ice rink back! The rink is “stick-free”, meaning no hockey sticks or pucks are allowed on the ice. The rink was created to provide a beautiful, family friendly outdoor activity in the heart of Grand Forks. The rink is surrounded by beautiful holiday lights that will stay up throughout winter. Rink hours are:

Weekdays: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Weekends: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Restrooms will be open during hours of operation.
